Preparing masks for the Fall season

This is my painting desk. I completey changed the set-up after the studio was taken apart and insulated this Spring.

I only have 6 to 8 hours a week to work in the studio, so I'm still avoiding shows and custom orders--they take so much time! But Halloween is coming right up, and I plan to finish some pieces for my two favorite mask stores,  Mystique in Portland, and Maskarade in the New Orleans French Quarter. So far I have mainly been working on feathered half masks, and swirly dominos and asymmetrical masks.

So if you're in Portland or New Orleans, plan to stop by and see some of my masks for sale there in early October. And if you're looking for wearable horns, don't forget to check out Gumbo in Portland too--I delivered a bunch of new horns to them last month.

Happy Fall!
