Goblin Art update: Two Fall shows in Portland

Things are very quiet in the Goblin Art studio at the moment, the “Balance of Art & Motherhood” has veered mostly in the direction of motherhood lately. But I do still have two small Portland-area events this Fall, "Incognito" and the Local 14 art show.

Incognito 2010 is a fundraiser for SCRAP, (School & Community Reuse Action Project), featuring an exhibition of masks made from at least 75% recycled materials, and a Halloween masquerade. I designed and donated an original one-of-a-kind mask especially for this event.

  • Incognito Mask exhibition: October 2nd - October 27 th at SCRAP’s RE:Vision Gallery, 11am-6pm Mon-Sun, 2915 NE MLK Jr. Blvd. Portland, OR.
  • Opening Reception at RE:Vision Gallery: Thursday, October 7 th, 6pm-8pm
  • Masquerade ball & mask auction: Thursday October 28 th , 5:30pm, at the Oregon Zoo’s Cascade Ballroom.

Then I return to The Local 14 Art Show this year with a small selection of masks for sale.

  • Local 14 Art Show opening night gala : Thursday October 14th,  6pm – 9pm ($10 admission for gala)
  • Show hours: Friday October 15th, 10am-9pm, Saturday October 16th, 10am-5pm, Sunday October 17th, 10am-5pm
  • Located at Miller Hall, World Forestry Center, Portland, OR.

Have a wonderful Fall!
